incase you haven’t noticed, i love peanutbutter. i am not only fairly certain that you have noticed, but i am pretty sure that everyone in the grocery store noticed on this day, as i piled my arms full of peanutbutter jars. i had an important mission: make lots and lots of peanutbutter cookies.
i am a big fan of taking one recipe and modifying it and/or combining it with a second, or even third. for this, i had decided to start with a simple peanutbutter cookie recipe and make some of them pb&j style, some of them with chocolate inside (surprise!), some of them chocolate side-dipped, some of them chocolate bottom-dipped, some of them chocolate dipped either way and covered in chopped peanuts, and some of them… plain (:::gasp!:::)
for this one, i will let the pictures speak for themselves… and yes– they DID taste as good as they look!

ed got to enjoy this one, with a whole brick of ghirardelli hiding inside

mmm...pb&j

the unsuspecting plain cookies, just waiting to be dunked in chocolately goodness

the bottom dip and nut

the side dip and nut

mmmm... this was one of the ridiculously large ones!
One Response to peanutbutter cookie extravaganza!
