for years i have wanted to make good scones, as i am a big fan. and for years i was making decent scones but continued to search for the perfect recipe. last december i found the perfect recipe. no, i am serious, i love these scones!!! it is one of the few recipes that i will not share, as i had told the woman i got it from that i would protect this one.
the top rack is cinnamon chip and the bottom is fresh blueberries… i had one of the blueberry ones pretty much immediately after it came out of the oven (i am known for burning my mouth, i must say it is sometimes worth it) and it was just as good as always…. i will have to wait a bit to follow it up with a cinnamon one. later this week will be cranberry orange scones for my mom before she heads back home [o:
